China is integrating artificial intelligence into six key areas as part of its "AI Plus" national strategy

The six key sectors for AI integration are:

Industrial Upgrading: Promoting "AI + Manufacturing" to enhance production efficiency and innovation. This involves AI-driven robotics, digital twins for simulation, and predictive maintenance in sectors like automotive, aerospace, and electronics.
Consumption: Integrating AI to improve the consumer experience. This includes AI-powered retail, personalized services, and advanced payment systems.
Social Wellbeing: Expanding the use of AI in public services to enhance quality of life. Applications include AI-driven healthcare diagnostics, adaptive learning platforms in education, and intelligent transportation systems.
Governance: Applying AI to enhance administrative efficiency and public services. This includes using AI for data processing in government, improving public safety with intelligent surveillance systems, and optimizing city management.
International Cooperation: Fostering global collaboration on AI development and governance. This involves promoting open-source development and sharing technologies to solve shared challenges.
These areas are supported by a broader national strategy focused on infrastructure development, data governance, talent cultivation, and building a robust domestic technology stack.
